Announcing

There's nothing more exciting that watching the final portion of a bike race; watching the racers as they try to cross the finish line first. And it's even better when a good, knowledgeable announcer can spice up the moment and allow the fans to understand what's going on and help them bring up their level of excitement.

Atwood Racing Services offers announcing services that will allow the spectators of your event to enjoy their experience more than they would without having an emcee at the event. My knowledge of the sport and all of its details allows me to enhance the crowd experience with knowledge and expertise. Knowledable fans are the best fans, as they will bring their energy out towards the event, which is turn will create a festive and fun environment for everyone at the venue.

With the announcing, I have a wide variety of music that will fit the mood of the day. Good music can help build up the excitement, and even temper it so that it can be channeled at the most exciting time of the day. Promoters can also request and/or provide particular music if they want to, but please allow me to blend it in with the right moment during the event.

In addition, having an announcer at your event allows you another medium to get the word out about your sponsors. Many sponsors are looking for the "word-of-mouth" advertising that comes at a fairly reasonable cost to them and can get the word spread out to as many eyes and ears as possible. Sponsoring a bike race is a great way to get noticed, at a little cost to the business and a big plus to a promoter's budget. Promoters who wish to get the word out on their sponsors just need to get me some text to read and I will take care of the rest.

The fees for this service are as follows:

• $300 daily fee for a 2-speaker system. Add $100 for a 4-speaker system. Discounts are available for multi-day events; please inquire with me when booking.
• Reimbursement of travel expenses to, during, and from the event, to include, but not be limited to, the following:  Mileage to, during, and from the event at the current United States Internal Revenue Services reimbursement rate (For 2019 that is $.58/mile), accommodations the evening before each day of racing (subject to a limit of $125/night), and a per diem of $30/day for meal expenses incurred not during the active racing time period.
